These rings remained in the princess's collection but were rarely seen in public during her marriage. On some occasions she is depicted wearing the two rings on her left hand. She also wore the emblem of her family's ring, which she wore among her other types of rings. [3]
As a teenager (under 16 years old), Diana wore a gold choker with a "D pendant". [4] In 2017, a sterling silver "D" necklace that belonged to the princess as a teenager sold at auction for nearly $8,000. For her sixteenth birthday, her friends presented her with a gold initial necklace. She was also pictured wearing sterling silver earrings along with five diamonds. After her marriage to Charles, she continued to wear the necklace on occasion.

At the age of 16, Diana had the honor of being nominated to be bridesmaid at her sister Jane's wedding to Robert Fellowes on April 20, 1978. [6] At this royal ceremony, the princess wore a pair of pearl earrings and a pearl necklace. For her eighteenth birthday, Diana's family received a triple-strand pearl choker from the Spencers. [9] Both of Princess Diana's older sisters received matching gold hoops on their eighteen birthdays. [10] This similar collar consists of three rows of pearls decorated with a group of turquoise lobes and pearls intertwined in a cluster. This clustering was visible only when it matched the color of her attire, otherwise it would hide its beauty behind its precious stones. However, the princess later changed the part of the cluster clasp to include all the pearls.
Among the first gifts Diana received from Prince Charles was the eternity ring, which she wore regularly.
At the age of 18, while she was living in her apartment (60 Coleherne Court) in the capital, London, her apartment was burglarized and a large part of her jewelry was stolen. [11]
