 3  Things You Might Do That Stresses Your Dog 1 . Leaving them alone for a long time Separation anxiety or stress is common in young dogs who haven’t been left alone before. Separation anxiety affects very old dogs as well because they lose their ability to care for themselves. When you leave or return home, it shows up as persistent barking, destructive behavior, or howling. Some dogs may poop or pee inside the house. It’s not advised to leave your pet alone for more than 6 to 8 hours at a time until they’re used to it. Before you go, you should lock the doors and windows to prevent escape, make sure they have enough water and food, and leave toys for them to play with. You should also ignore them for about 20 minutes before leaving. When you return, do the same thing: don’t greet or pet the dog until they’ve cooled down. This is when the All Creatures Great and Small Christmas special 2022 will air


It’s been announced when All Creatures Great and Small returns to our screens!


Based on author James Herriot’s much-loved collection of stories, the cosy period drama is back later this month.

Channel 5’s series follows the heartwarming and humorous adventures of a young country vet in the Yorkshire Dales in the 1930s.

The show’s third festive special will follow on from the events of Season 3’s emotional finale, which aired in October.
All the main cast are expected to reprise their roles in the episode, which will be set in December 1939, with the world at war.

When does the Christmas special air?

It’s now been officially confirmed that 2022’s festive instalment will premiere in the UK at 9pm on Friday 23rd December on Channel 5.

The episode will be titled ‘Merry Bloody Christmas’ (we’re all hearing that in Siegfried’s voice, right?!)

American fans will have a little longer to wait, as Season 3 doesn’t begin airing in the US until January.

‘Merry Bloody Christmas’ will air in the US on Sunday 19th February 2023 on PBS, so we reckon that’s a valid excuse to keep your decorations up until then!
